Top 5 Social Networking Apps on iOS in Serbia Q4 2021

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the social networking category on iOS in Serbia saw interesting trends among the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower data, the performance of these apps in terms of weekly downloads and revenue exhibited notable patterns.

Rakuten Viber Messenger demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 2K in early October and peaking at over 4K by the end of December. Revenue for the app remained relatively stable, with a slight increase, reaching up to $41 in late November.

WhatsApp Messenger also showed a gradual growth in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with approximately 1.3K downloads per week and ended with about 2.3K in the last week of December.

Facebook experienced a steady climb in weekly downloads as well, starting at just over 1K and rising to nearly 1.9K by the end of the quarter. The app’s weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, peaking at $31 in early October and settling around $11 in the final week of December.

Messenger saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning at around 962 and growing to approximately 1.7K by the end of December.

Lastly, Telegram Messenger showed moderate growth in weekly downloads, starting at 449 and reaching 673 by the end of the quarter.
